Third Grade

In a very subtle way 3 rd grade is the beginning of Confirmation preparation. These children are no longer infants in the Lord, not yet adults, either. They have usually celebrated the three sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation and Eucharist and can now begin to focus on further spiritual growth. Their text emphasizes the four marks of the Church, presenting a unit on each of them: The Church is…One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic and finally, its mission in the world. They also focus on the Bible and how to use it, the liturgical year as well as diving deeper into each season, feast and Holy Day.
