Second Grade

This year, there have been several emphases for the 2nd grade Religious Education group. We have talked about how as part of the Body of Christ, we come together each week at Mass, a special meal that celebrates God's love for us. Since this is the year the children receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist for the first time, we have discussed making good choices and God's forgiveness. Also, we've learned about God's love for us and his greatest gift, his son Jesus. Through the Eucharist, Jesus is present to us. When we receive Jesus we are made stronger as we try to be more like Jesus in all we do.
