Mission Possible

Science Olympiad is a national non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of K-12 science education, increasing male, female and minority interest in science, creating a technologically-literate workforce and providing recognition for outstanding achievement by both students and teachers.  These goals are achieved by participating in Science Olympiad tournaments and non-competitive events, incorporating Science Olympiad into classroom curriculum and attending teacher training institutes.

Pope John Paul II Science Olympiad Team

Our Division B Science Olympiad Team consists of 15 members.  Each student competes in an average of 3-4 events that challenge and highlight their science talents and interests.  Team members compete annually in the Manchester College Invitational and the Science Olympiad Regional Competition.  In its 5th year, the Pope John Paul II Science Olympiad Team is working hard to qualify for the annual state competition.   The team competed in its first state competition in 2013.
